I have been busy in my new studio and I am excited about the upcoming exhibits and shows.

My painting, CatWalking Clown, has been selected for the 2012 Accessible Expressions Ohio touring exhibit.

There is an opening reception, A Day of Arts for All on March 3, 2012 at
the Westerville Community Center, 350 N. Cleveland Ave. I hope to see you there.

 Spring is coming and so are my paintings. I have a number of them located at
The Artist Within – 934 W. Market St. – Baltimore, Ohio 43105.
I have all new paintings on Display at Art and Clay on Main - 150 West Main Street
Lancaster, OH 43130.

Please stop by to see my work and pick up something for yourself or a loved one.

 I am working on some new projects. I have the capability to add a painting of your choice
to a water bottle or mouse pad. You can choose what you want on the bottle and have your
name added at no additional cost. Cost for personalized 12 ounces water bottles will be
$20 plus shipping, 8”x9” mouse pads will be $10. Please check them out.

Merry Christmas!

My hope is that everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year.
My family and I have been very busy completing my new studio. I will post photos
when we are finished. I am very excited to have my own studio and to be able to
walk only a few steps to create my art.

There is nothing better than the support of your family and to embark on this path
with those that love you the most. This time of year family it is even more
important than ever.

Christmas is a time for families and my hope for all my
friends to have a family like mine, warts and all. No family is perfect so we
have to embrace the good that is in everyone and enjoy our family for who they
are.

Art and Clay on Main at 150 W. Main Street Lancaster, OH is having an Open House December 2-4. The open house is from 5:00 – 8:00 on Friday, 10:00 – 4:00 Saturday and 12:00 – 4:00 on Sunday. Please stop by and see my artwork. I will be there Friday 5:00 – 6:00 and Sunday 1:00 – 3:00.

I will be drawing small pen and ink drawings for $5.00 each. These are 5 ½” x 8 ½” card stock and can be matted and framed.

This is my first blog and I wanted to introduce you to my website and tell you a little about it. It has been an exciting time for my family and me as we prepare for the launch of my business and website. I will be posting periodically to tell you about a special painting or just to post what I have been up to. I will also tell you where I have art on display so you can see it in person if you are in the area.

Currently I have my ‘Alphabet Friends’ on display at AHA Children’s Museum located at 315 South Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio and I have a number of paintings at Art and Clay on Main located at 150 W. Main Street Lancaster, OH. Please stop by and take a look.

Last Friday I spent the day in Washington DC at the Alliance For Full Participation summit. I participated in two break-out sessions monitored by Dave Hammis from Griffin-Hammis Associates, LLC. I was able to tell my story about my business through my sister. I hope to do more of this type of thing in the future.
